We announced the CSS326-24G-2S + RM key, a special version of RouterOS, featuring a second boot option with a 24-port Gigabit Ethernet switch powered by SwOS / RouterOS, including many new switch features for cable speed connection! This device offers an additional CPU unit that allows you to run the RouterOS operating system; a GUI interface to configure switch features.

This new switch can operate in routing mode with several configurable ports. The 'dual boot' feature allows you to choose between the operating system you prefer, RouterOS or SwOS. If you prefer a simpler switch with more features, use SwOS. If you are accustomed to Winbox and like to use routing and other Layer 3 features at some connection points in your CRS, load RouterOS and use it.

You can choose your desired operating system from RouterOS, SwOS, or RouterBOOT loader settings. This switch provides all the basic functions for a managed switch, including: port-to-port routing, applyMAC filtering, VLAN configuration, traffic, bandwidth limitations, and even some MAC and IP header settings. SFPcage supports both 1.25 Gb SFP and 10 Gb SFP+ modules.
