SenseCAP M1 is a high-performance, ready-to-use indoor LoRaWAN gateway compatible with Helium LongFi Network. In just a few simple steps, you can connect to The People's Network and create low-cost LoRa applications. SenseCAP M1 provides kilometer-wide wireless network coverage and data transmission capacity for LoRa/LoRaWAN devices. By leveraging the advantages of the Helium community, you can join and contribute to The People's Network infrastructure.

SenseCAP M1 Indoor Gateway is the latest network gateway device contributing to indoor wireless monitoring applications in the SenseCAP product series and serves as another HotSpot device option for the Helium community.

Hardware Solutions

SenseCAP M1, based on Raspberry Pi 4 (2G/4G/8G RAM) and equipped with a built-in WM1302/WM1303 (Semtech SX1302/SX1303) LoRa concentrator, is a powerful and reliable LoRaWAN gateway with low power consumption similar to that of a regular light bulb.

Frequency Band Support

SenseCAP M1 supports US915/EU868 versions with FCC/CE certifications and can support additional frequency plans without further configuration. Each version has its own corresponding antenna and power adapter. You can choose the frequency band version according to your region.

Security

To effectively protect your device from critical security issues, an integrated ECC608 cryptographic chip is included for high-security authentication.

Automatic Online Updates
SenseCAP M1 provides an operating system OTA and Docker-based software OTA to enable automatic online updates without any activation or tracking processes. The 64G MicroSD card included with the device also meets the memory requirements for possible updates.

Remote Diagnosis
A advanced remote diagnosis mechanism is built into SenseCAP M1, allowing for timely online user support for potential issues with the device upon request.

Efficient Cooling Solution
Along with a better cooling solution, SenseCAP M1 comes with a cooler and cooling fan that can automatically manage temperature in harsh environments, ensuring long-term and stable operation within an aluminum casing.

Practical Setup for the Helium Network
The setup of SenseCAP M1 is very convenient. You can easily place SenseCAP M1 next to your windows or mount it on the wall. For expanding the network coverage and maximizing profits, it is recommended to place the network gateways approximately 350-400 meters apart from each other. As a Bluetooth-enabled Helium-compatible gateway, SenseCAP M1 can be easily set up on your smartphone using the Helium app in just six simple steps. SenseCAP M1 supports both WiFi and Ethernet internet connections.
