CWDM technology has been developed to combine up to eight fibers for long-distance fiber installations and reduce costs.

Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (CWDM) (Kaba Dalga Boyu Bölmeli Çoklama) technology provides a solution to increase capacity.
Since multiple channels/wavelengths are provided over the same fiber cable as the existing fiber infrastructure, it does not incur additional costs.

MikroTik CWDM is a passive MUX / DEMUX unit that combines up to eight fiber connections. At the other location, the combined line is split again, so you will only need one fiber cable instead of eight long fiber cables.

Our CWDM solution allows signals to be transmitted and received over wavelengths from 1470 nm to 1610 nm, up to 8 channels. A dual fiber cable connects to two CWDM MUX / DEMUX units and supports the same wavelengths at both ends of the fiber optic network. Each CWDM unit has a filter set for a device.

Therefore, the specific wavelength must be correctly connected to the relevant port.
