WiPoint Cloud Hotspot User Management

The WiPoint Cloud Hotspot product, powered by Mikrotik devices, is designed to manage internet access operations in public internet service areas. When users join your network, internet access is provided through WiPoint authentication methods.

In cafes, restaurants, hotels, schools, and other locations, users can register themselves through authentication methods to gain access to the internet, rather than manually creating individual user accounts.

In hotels, guest/personnel tracking programs can be integrated to provide access to a specific user group. You can either manually manage user operations, manage them through the administrator portal, generate reports, and create packages (such as speed limits and quota settings).

WiPoint Authentication Options

The following authentication options are optional. One or more authentication options can be selected.

Free User Login (Specific to Hotspot)

If a free user login screen is selected, the user will provide details such as name, surname, T.C. ID, company, phone, etc., but these details will not be verified (such as T.C. ID verification, SMS verification code, etc.).

User Login (Specific to WiPoint)

The user login method referred to as 'employee login' allows users to log in to the hotspot network using a username and password created by the system administrator.

T.C. ID Verification

Users can verify their details by entering their name, surname, T.C. ID, and date of birth, and then verifying online through tckimlik.nvi.gov.tr.

SMS Verification

After users join the hotspot network, they can enter their mobile phone number and verify their internet access by entering the verification code received via SMS. If the SMS operator API is supported, it can be integrated into the system.

Social Media Verification

Users can register and gain internet access by providing their information through applications on social media platforms such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

Integration Login

Internet access can be provided in an integrated manner with the existing guest/personnel tracking systems. Depending on the information required, the integration code or the integration code with a password can be used. Connections can be established with databases such as MsSQL, MYSQL, ORACLE, FIREBIRD, and ACCESSDB. Integration can be done through XML and TEXT files. Parametric configuration can be provided based on the information given by the integrated systems.

Email Administrator Approval

After visitors register, they are submitted for approval by the designated management unit. Once approved by the administrator, the user can access the internet. If desired, SMS verification can also be performed.

Administrator Operations

You can create sub-administrators for yourself.

You can view and edit sub-administrators.

You can define your administrator permissions. You can list, filter, and edit users.

You can add and edit new users (you can only intervene with users added through the portal).

You can apply the ban method to users. You can block access for unwanted users.

You can view usage history for users.

If you are using an integrated system, you can list integrated users and select the packages you want them to use when they join the system.

You can create limited or unlimited packages for yourself. The AKN system is not yet active.
