WiPoint Cloud Hotspot User Management

This product, powered by Mikrotik devices, is an enhanced Cloud Hotspot solution for managing internet access in public internet service areas. When users join your network, internet access is granted through WiPoint authentication methods.

In cafes, restaurants, hotels, schools, and other locations, users can register themselves through authentication methods instead of manually creating individual user accounts. This allows them to activate their access permissions according to predefined control methods.

In hotels, villas, pensions, and schools, internet access can be provided to specific user groups in conjunction with existing guest/employee tracking programs.

You can manually manage user operations, use the administrator portal to manage, generate reports, and create packages (such as speed limits and quota settings).

WiPoint Authentication Options

The following authentication options are optional. One or more authentication options can be selected.

Free User Login (Specific to Hotspot)

If a free user login screen is selected, the user provides information such as name, surname, TC ID, company, phone, etc., but these details are not verified (no TC ID verification, SMS verification code, etc.).

User Login (Specific to WiPoint)

The user login method referred to as 'employee login' allows users to join the Hotspot network and log in using a username and password created by the system administrator.

TC ID Verification

Users enter their name, surname, TC ID, and date of birth to verify their identity online through tckimlik.nvi.gov.tr.

SMS Verification

After joining the Hotspot network, users enter their mobile phone number and use an SMS verification code to access the internet. If the SMS operator API is supported, it can be integrated into the system.

Social Media Verification

Users can register and gain internet access by providing information from social media platforms such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.

Integration Login

Internet access can be provided in conjunction with existing guest/employee tracking systems. Depending on the information required, either an integration code or a combination of an integration code and a password can be used. Connections to MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Firebird, and AccessDB databases are possible. XML and text file integrations are also available. Parametric configuration can be done based on the information provided by the integrated system.

Email Administrator Approval

After a visitor registers, they are submitted for approval by the designated management unit. Once approved by the administrator, the user can access the internet. If desired, SMS verification can also be performed.

Administrator and User Operations

You can create sub-administrators for yourself.

You can view and edit sub-administrators.

You can define your administrator's permissions. You can list and filter users.

You can add and edit new users (only users added via the portal can be modified).

You can apply the ban method to users. You can block access for unwanted users.

You can view usage history for users.

If you use an integrated system, you can list integrated users. You can select the package you want users to use when they join the system.

You can create your own limited or unlimited packages. The AKN system is not yet active.
