Advanced Hardware

New version includes amplifiers to measure small signals - this allows, for example, the simple and safe measurement of AC current. PWM control, for instance, includes outputs for light brightness, motor speed, and servo control models. The product can be powered with PoE for easier setup in remote installations. The software can now be easily updated by the user.

New Expansion

The new version also offers new opportunities for expansion - separate rails include a 1-wire read temperature sensor and I2C serial port for ready-to-use humidity and temperature sensors, such as AM2320. I2C also includes a new splitter bus and additional solid relays. The base splitter and PCB relays can be mounted on a DIN rail.

New Communication Protocol

In addition to the previous HTTP and SNMP versions, support for a new protocol, MQTT, developed and provided by IBM for IoT applications, has been added. This protocol enables remote data collection, processing, and viewing of data sent by the LAN Controller, and can also be used behind a device router.

Modern Web Server

The applied efficient 32-bit processor helps create a modern website with advanced tools. The menu, functional graphs, and toggles are designed for easy use. Additionally, components can be enabled or disabled and installed; advanced users can customize the background and tailor the controller to their needs, providing perfect opportunities for configuration and application.

Event Programming

The new version offers a broader feature programming for event handling. Now, conditions can be controlled in two inputs simultaneously, and the Boolean operator can be set when the output is triggered. It is easy to configure and new lines can be added to 'our program'.

Timer

The timer can be useful for many applications, enabling the device to be activated or deactivated at a specific time or for a specific duration. In V3, the introduction of a virtual output EVNT is also notable. This can be used as a condition in an event sequence, only available by programming. The new timer view simplifies usage, providing comprehensive features, not just for days of the week but also for specific dates.

What Can Be Done Overall

The LAN Röle Control device supports network connections and provides GET/POST methods and SNMP codes. You can program your device using Delphi, VB.net, or PHP, control its resources, or open and close relays. The LAN Controller is a simple yet innovative device in network solutions, offering a small circuit board with various sensors that can be connected for reading, and six different outputs that can be controlled remotely. Key features include event configuration, allowing different actions to be performed when specified conditions are met. For example, a temperature sensor connected to the device can automatically turn on or off a heater based on a measured value compared to a set limit. Scheduled tasks allow the state of outputs to be changed at a specific time or time intervals, and PWM output support enables the control of scaled equipment such as motor speed and light brightness. Additionally, two different versions of the software are continuously updated based on different use cases; V2.xx versions are customized for ISP solutions with a watchdog feature, while V3.xx versions, developed for home automation scenarios, lack the watchdog feature but include support for reading from DHT22 humidity sensors, single-cabled readings from six different points, support for two-state (Open/Closed) switches for logical (digital) inputs, and reading from digital output sensors such as smoke, motion, water, and flow sensors.

The LAN Controller offers management and data reading alternatives based on time and state, as well as SNMP and GET/POST support. These alternatives allow for custom management applications tailored to your project using programming languages such as Delphi, VB.net, or PHP.
